Private Equity owned SaaS company seeks a Controller to take the Accounting team to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Own technical accounting, yearend audits, monthly close, consolidations, financial systems, and financial reporting.
Help with due diligence related to acquisitions and other strategic endeavors.
Find and implement scalable business-process efficiencies (ie: shorten close times, improve PO process, create templates for reporting).
Supervise, motivate, teach and train a rock-star team of seven individuals.
Spearhead new initiatives for lender reporting, debt amortization and all related compliance.
Special projects and ad-hoc financial planning & analysis.

Requirements:

CPA from a national firm
10+ years of public and private experience with a preference for strong technical accounting and SEC experience.
Superior communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment
Located in Chicagoland or willing to travel there occasionally
LEADERSHIP, LEADERSHIP, LEADERSHIP: Experience building effective and motivated teams
SaaS and Private Equity experience A+, but not required
