Pioneering consumer/tech company with an Online Platform to Revolutionize the way consumers buy and sell cars is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. This is the perfect position for an individual with a background in accounting, who is looking to participate in the growth of a successful Corporate Accounting organization, while stepping outside of their comfort zone to provide support in all areas of a company that is literally breaking new ground. This company has year-over-year growth led by strong and experienced management, while still having the culture of a startup.

What you’ll do:

General ledger reconciliations
Analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
Financial statement preparation
Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules (reconciliations, rollforwards)
Review prepared statements/ schedules for completeness and accuracy

What you need:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in audit or a combination of audit and private industry accounting experience
CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of US GAAP and analytical ability with a focus on understanding operations
Strong software skills, Proficiency with Excel
Demonstrated ability to learn accounting and reporting applications in a short time period
