Our client, an accounting and management consultant firm, is looking for a motivated individual to work next to Managers in servicing early to middle stage tech and media startups.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for clients.
- Create financial statements, adjust journal entries, and review accruals.
- Manage the bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Maintain client ledgers, accounting schedules, and balance sheet items.
- Assist with new accounting system implementation for clients.
- Perform financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of accounting experience. GAAP experience highly preferred.
- Accounting and financial analysis knowledge. Strong background in financial statements and general ledgers.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Early start up experience preferred.
