Senior Manager of Accounting

Diverse, publicly traded global provider of information, technology and financial services is looking to hire an energetic and analytical CPA with management experience to play a lead role in within their Corporate Finance function. Primary responsibilities will include:

Oversee all accounting, record keeping, and compliance activities related to company’s equity programs, which include stock grants, ESPP, 401K, and pension administration.
Supervise month-end close related activities, forecast and budgeting.
Get involved in SOX compliance reporting, SEC filings, quarterly and annual reporting, and global payroll tax compliance.
Implement and oversee process improvements wherever necessary.
Play a key role in other corporate stock accounting activities including dividend processing and common stock purchases.
Work closely with global business partners in Payroll, Financial Accounting, FP&A, Compensation and Benefits, Legal, and Tax, acting as an internal advisor on equity related items.
Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA required
7-10 years of corporate accounting experience
Compensation accounting not required, only a desire to learn.
2-3 years of management experience
Strong analytic skills
Strong communication skills
Additional Experience Preferred:

Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of ASC 718
SEC/SOX experience
Workday Financials/HCM
Hyperion and/or OneStream Planning/Reporting tools
Project Management experience
