Digital Media firm with an international footprint, experienced and stable management team and a unicorn valuation is looking for a Head of Tax. This Senior Manager role will provide an opportunity to own planning, domestic and international tax compliance as well as tax reporting.

Responsibilities

·         Manage the preparation and review of all tax returns and schedules.

·         Supervise, mentor and grow the Senior Tax Accountant.

·         Monitor legal entity profit levels and ensure that transfer pricing policies are in order.

·         Run point on communicating with service providers, auditors and the government.

·         Lead the reengineering process to improve accuracy and efficiency and ensure that future audits are successful.

·         Integrate acquisitions keep service providers abreast of new developments.

·         Develop a critical understanding of the business to avoid any unnecessary risks and align tax strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

·         CPA

·         Team-first, hands-on mindset

·         6-12+ years of tax experience in both public and private

·         Experience with Federal and International tax

·         Process improvement mindset

·         Clear communications and the ability to translate tax concepts to senior management

·         Tech/Media experience is a plus
