Iconic tech company seeks a Technical Accounting Manager to support the highest growth business within its portfolio.

What you'll do:
• Assist the business by solving complex problems with a combination of influence and by teaching/reinforcing best practices, specifically across financial reporting processes and controls
• Spearhead cross-functional projects with domestic and international counterparts
• Run point on discussions with a broad set of internal constituencies such as licensing, legal, fp&a and software engineers
• Provide purchase accounting and business combination expertise as the company continues to acquire key additional businesses
• Help the business understand and account for key technical accounting areas including debt and equity transactions, revenue recognition, leasing, segment reporting, etc
• Ensure the appropriate accounting conclusions are reached for transactions impacting SEC filings including the Company’s consolidated and statutory financial statements

Requirements:
• 5+ years of technical accounting experience obtained through audit, advisory or inhouse policy work
• CPA, ACA or CA required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong writing skills
• Professional and collaborative communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize a varying degree of tasks
• IFRS a plus
