Dynamic, PE-owned EdTech company seeks its first VP of Finance. This company is poised for significant growth and needs a tactical and strategic finance business partner to scale. The management team has been together for 10+ years and is ready to collaborate with a builder of financial/analytical processes to unlock its immense potential.

Key responsibilities:

Partner with management, sales and the PE parent company to facilitate an aggressive growth strategy (organically and through transactions)

Create monthly reporting templates and scalable financial processes

Author ROI and KPI metrics

Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis and deep dives into the P&L

Run the month end/quarter end/year end close and prepare for an external audit

Supervise and participate in Payroll, AP and AR

Collaborate with CFO to monitor internal controls

Recognize revenue and build out a repeatable and accurate infrastructure for expansion

Requirements:

Business partnership and risk management skills

Ability to strategically counsel and advise business leaders on strategies to drive growth and profitability

Hands-on mindset, no job is too big or too small

Track record of managing bank relationships

Experience working with private equity and/or high-growth companies and supporting board reporting/governance

Mastery of GL accounting and Revenue Recognition

Superior analytical and modeling skills

Prior experience with M&A

International business, multi-currently accounting is a significant plus

MBA and/or CPA preferred
