VC-backed, global advisory startup with 6 international offices and 2 in the United States is seeking its first Regulatory leader to help build a practice in conjunction with a seasoned former Big 4 Partner.  This company has grown to over 250 people in its first year and will continue to scale quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of the client’s regulatory reporting universe: (e.g., FR Y14, FR Y-9C/ FFEIC 031, NSFR, FR 2052a, FFIEC 009 etc.)
• Analyze current state against industry leading practices and published FRB and FDIC guidelines
• Network and utilize contacts to develop more client contracts
• Spearhead business process improvements and technology enhancements
• Break down complex problems into components, identify root causes, and establish resolution plans
• Lead global teams to complete client mandates in an efficient way
• Assimilate broad-ranging information quickly and can distil it into the key points for relevant audience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
• 10-15+ years of experience in an advisory company plus time spent within a major financial services organization
• Exposure to / experience in external reporting for large Financial institution is required
• Experience with U.S. Regulatory financial reports (FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031) is preferred
• Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge required
• CPA strongly preferred but not required
• Superior team leadership, communication and organizational management skills
• Ability to develop client relationships
