Vice President of FP&A

Prestigious Credit Investing Company

Prestigious Credit Investing Platform seeks its first Vice President of FP&A. Incredible opportunity to build best in class processes and procedures and facilitate the growth of a well-funded investment company with seasoned executive management. This position will report to an experienced CFO but also work very closely with the COO and other executive managers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create budgets and track performance at both the fund and corporate level while contributing to the strategic direction of the firm’s growth.
  • Maintain the firm’s detailed financial projection model, with in-depth scenario analysis, including impact of fund returns, expenses, and projected management and performance fees.
  • Develop and maintain short and longer-term planning models (3–5-year projections).
  • Manage the development, analysis and review of recurring reporting and key metrics (e.g., revenue, operating expenses, margin, etc.).
  • Develop new predictive metrics and key performance indicators to improve the company’s forecasting abilities.
  • Establish cross-functional partnerships and collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders in advancing projects and managing the business.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and executive summaries for leadership and investors to develop greater insights and provide quantitative support for strategic decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and lead financial projects as needed to support the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A and related disciplines.
  • Prior direct experience within credit funds, preferably at a premier asset manager.
  • Direct experience and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of vehicles within a credit fund complex.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with an ability to analyze large amounts of financial data and prepare financial reports and projections.
  • Experience using and managing budget/planning systems
  • Superior communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Target compensation for this position is 180-220k + bonus
