Jacob Lefkowitz joined Marcus & Associates in 2016 after successfully expanding a New York-based multi-office surgical practice as their Director of Business Development. Jacob built and runs the real estate practice at Marcus & Associates, where he provides recruiting services and strategic advice to top public and non-public REIT’s, Private Real Estate firms, Private Equity firms, Investment Managers, Sovereign Wealth funds, Developers, Real Estate Service Providers, Investment Banks, and Advisory Firms.

Jacob enjoys using his extensive network and deep-rooted relationships to help him fill a wide range of positions including acquisitions, asset management, capital raising, development, investor relations, ESG, portfolio management, finance, and accounting roles. Whether it’s filling a CFO role for a public REIT, building out a development team for a private equity-owned portfolio company, or finding the perfect controller candidate for a small private real estate, his dedication and passion remain the same.

Jacob is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and lives in New York City. He can usually be found on the golf course or cheering on his favorite sports teams. Jacob heads the young leadership board of Heartbeet Lifesharing, a vibrant lifesharing Camphill  community for adults with developmental disabilities, in Hardwick Vermont, a lifelong passion of his.
